Simple grill chicken marinated in soy sauce, honey, and garlic — 1 cup soy, 1 cup honey, and 4 garlic cloves per 1 kg chicken. Sweet, sticky, and easy.

Prep: Mince or crush the garlic.
Marinade: In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, and a splash of olive oil until combined. Add the chicken and turn to coat well. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 30–60 minutes (overnight is fine).
Grill: Preheat the grill to medium heat. Grill the chicken, turning often, until cooked through and nicely caramelised on the outside — about 6–8 minutes per side for breasts, longer for thick pieces. Honey burns quickly, so watch the heat and flip regularly.
Serve: Rest the chicken for a few minutes, then serve.
