Schab a la Stroganoff with Bell Pepper

Ingredients

Sauce:

  • 1 packet Knorr Fix Schab a la Stroganoff

Pork:

  • 400 g pork loin (schab), sliced into strips
  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced

Sauce:

  • 50 ml heavy cream

Pork:

  • Oil for frying if needed

Sides:

  • Cooked rice, to serve; warm crusty homemade bread is excellent instead of rice or on the side

Directions

Pork:

  1. Brown the pork strips in a hot pan, then add onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper and cook until softened.

Sauce:

  1. Stir in the Knorr Fix Schab a la Stroganoff and follow the packet method, then finish with the cream to make the sauce smooth and rich. Simmer briefly until everything is coated and cooked through. Serve hot over rice, or offer homemade bread.
